This role will be paid at £15 per hour – 20hrs per week and is a 8 week internship starting June 2024.

The Role
You will be focused on marketing, research, content, communications and other work for ‘The Curve’ – our digital, data and design skills programme for the third sector. We have trained over 9000 charity professionals via our online live workshops and your input will help us take The Curve to the next level. Reaching even more charities than ever before. You don’t need to be a digital expert. You need to be a great communicator with a focus on understanding user-needs and problem solving.
Your responsibilities may include:
Content
- Draft, edit, and design a range of written content which will include LMS training content, news stories, blogs, and case studies.
- Editing simple video content for a range of purposes from existing workshop footage. Training can be provided as these are very basic video skills we are looking for.
Website
- Support development of and regular updating of Third Sector Lab website and occasionally supporting clients.
Social media
- Provide support to manage and update social media channels.
- Repurpose content for social media.
- Monitor engagement and support the evaluation of social media activity.
Creative design
- Support teams across the organisation to create design assets for reports and publications. This will include editing and designing content using creative
software such as Canva (training can be provided).
General
- Provide support for events and training (mainly online but occasionally in person).
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of communications activity using tools such as google analytics (training can be provided)
- Maintain communications in line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) guidelines. Training can be provided to get you up to speed with GDPR.
- Adhere to policies, procedures and working practices.
